After having visited Berlin many times – most recently twice this early spring – I thought it would be a good idea to collect some of my favourites in one place. So here you go! Hope you'll find some inspiration for your next trip to this wonderful city.
PLACES TO STAY
Earlier when I went to Berlin I always stayed in rented apartments. The last couple of times I've been crashing at hotels. Both are brilliant ways to explore the city and both have their advantages. Two hotels I'd like to recommend are the 25hours and Hotel Oderberger. Both with a great attention to detail the hotels are the perfect place to chill, have a drink in the bar and rest your tired feet after a long day of walking the streets.
ENJOY THE ZOO VIEW
Located on the edge of the Zoologische Garten The 25hours Hotel has a stunning view over the treetops of the zoo. The Monkey Bar as well as the rooms has floor-to-ceiling windows facing the monkey enclosure.
PERFECTLY SITUATED IN PRENZLAUER BERG
A former public bathhouse has been transformed into a modern boutique hotel. After being left unused for more than thirty years the restored swimming pool is open again and is a real treat for the eye.

A drink is never inappropriate in Berlin. And luckily suppliers are on almost every street corner. Here are a few suggestions on where to get drizzled.
